Lead Underwriter for Financial Lines

This key role is responsible for providing support and assistance to the Product Manager - Casualty & Financial Lines in driving profitability, underwriting management, and oversight of Ansvar's Financial Lines portfolios across all customer segments.

  • Establishing and maintaining a thorough understanding of underwriting guidelines and standards.
  • Maintaining current knowledge of rating and pricing tools, underwriting governance, and assurance principles.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to enhance product quality and standards.
  • Becoming an expert in technical underwriting with the ability to build organisation-wide underwriting capability.

We are seeking a highly experienced individual with extensive experience (min. 7+ years) in technical underwriting roles in Financial Lines, with deep knowledge of financial lines products and exposures, and a proven track record in delivering profitable growth in Financial Lines.
