Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting data analysis to monitor, measure, and manage model risks, ensuring alignment with development and implementation best practices.
  • Performing detailed reviews and monitoring of credit models under regulatory capital, provisioning frameworks, and internal frameworks, incorporating feedback into model development and updates.
  • Leveraging your knowledge in credit portfolios and model methodologies to support the development, enhancement, and monitoring of credit models while managing associated risks.
  • Contributing to the development of action plans to resolve model findings and participating in re-designing processes to improve model development, management, and monitoring practices.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field such as Actuarial Studies, Computer Science, Economics/Econometrics, Quantitative Finance, or Statistics, with a focus on model development or quantitative analysis.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to problem-solve and effectively collaborate with stakeholders involved in model development and validation.
  • Demonstrated experience (academic or professional) in the end-to-end research and model development process, including coding, building models, reporting results, and comprehensive documentation.
  • Prior experience in coding with R and/or Python, with an added advantage if skilled in presenting insights via Power BI dashboards.
  • Prior experience in credit model development, monitoring, or validation as a valuable asset.

In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary package, estimated to be around $120,000-$150,000 per annum, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
