We are seeking a highly skilled Public Relations Manager to join our team at Teachers Health. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for protecting, maintaining, and improving the TH Group brand, reputation, and media engagement through our external media, communications, and public relations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive media and public relations strategy to enhance the TH Group brand reputation and media presence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including union and industry partners, and relevant media outlets.
  • Lead the day-to-day management of consumer media and serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries.
  • Drive awareness of Teachers Health Group and subsidiary brands through proactive and reactive consumer media planning and assist in growing the organization's profile with key audiences.
  • Identify and manage opportunities for the CEO, Chair, and other leadership representatives to contribute to relevant news, public commentary, and similar forums of public influence.
  • Develop and manage approvals for a variety of media materials, including press releases, bios, fact sheets, and media alerts.
  • Report on the effectiveness of consumer media campaigns and activities.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in public relations, media engagement, and communications strategy.
  • Mid-level copywriting skills for various channels.
  • Experience with media release distribution platforms and monitoring tools.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing, business communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field.
