**Job Description**

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Aboriginal Cancer Care Specialist to join our team in providing support, information, and care navigation for Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people with a cancer diagnosis.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires the ability to work collaboratively with existing Cancer Services staff, Aboriginal Health Services, and Primary Health Care providers.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the McGrath Model of Care and be able to provide leadership to facilitate ongoing development of clinical practice.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Relevant post-registration qualifications or at least 3 years of experience working with cancer patients
  • Demonstrated ability to engage, build and maintain positive relationships with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples
  • Demonstrated ability to critically use patient clinical information to manage and navigate care
