This is a challenging opportunity for a highly organized and analytical individual to join our team as a Payroll Specialist.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end payroll processing: Oversee the entire payroll cycle, ensuring timely and accurate payments, including leave, superannuation, and other entitlements.
- Interpret employment agreements and awards: Apply correct pay rates and conditions based on EBAs and modern awards.
- Handle payroll queries and discrepancies: Promptly resolve any payroll-related issues or discrepancies that may arise.
- Maintain employee records and data: Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of employee information, timesheets, and payroll data.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders: Collaborate with HR, finance, and operations teams to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
- Support payroll reporting and compliance: Assist with month-end and year-end payroll reporting, audits, and compliance requirements, including Fair Work and tax obligations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: Ability to interpret complex data and resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Excellent communication skills: Effective liaison with internal stakeholders and employees.
