Lead Researcher in Palliative Care Coordination

We are seeking a highly motivated Lead Researcher in Palliative Care Coordination to join our team at the University of Wollongong's Innovation Campus.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management and overall coordination of the National Palliative Care Coordination project, ensuring its successful execution and alignment with project objectives. Key responsibilities include:
- Literature review and analysis
- Qualitative and quantitative data management and statistical analysis
- Research project coordination and publication
To be successful, you should have completed a PhD in health or a related field, with proven academic experience in research. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, including the ability to consult, negotiate, and interact effectively with academic and clinical staff.
About the ProjectThe National Palliative Care Coordination project aims to improve coordination between primary care and palliative care by improving the recognition of palliative care needs, ensuring accurate and timely referrals to specialist services, and identifying barriers to primary palliative care.
The project is a multi-agency collaboration with the Department of Health and Aged Care, and the successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to ensure the project's success.
