Salary: $40.50/hour + Super

The Talent International team is seeking a dedicated Care Coordinator to join a NSW Government client in Wollongong. This is an initial 3-month contract with potential for extension.

This role offers a competitive hourly rate of $40.50 + Super, working 35 hours per week (7 hours per day) in a hybrid work setup.

About the Role

  • We are looking for a highly skilled and empathetic individual with experience in NDIS, Aged Care, or iCare.
  • A Bachelor's degree and strong written communication skills are essential.
  • Familiarity with legal proceedings is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct visits and engage with represented individuals to understand their needs, views, and preferences.
  • Provide accurate, empathetic, and timely responses to enquiries from the public, professional staff, and service providers.
  • Make, implement, and monitor decisions under delegated authority in line with the Guardianship Act 1987 (NSW).
  • Develop knowledge of local services, community demographics, and support infrastructure.
  • Ensure effective communication with stakeholders, adhering to privacy and compliance standards.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for NCAT hearings and represent the organization where required.
