About the Role

A dynamic and experienced Kitchen Manager is sought to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our guests.

The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in managing high-volume kitchens, with a strong focus on culinary excellence, guest satisfaction, and team development.

Responsibilities will include leading daily kitchen operations, hiring, training, and developing new staff members, coaching and counselling existing team members, achieving budgeted cost centres, maintaining consistency in recipe execution, inventory management, and overseeing ordering of food and supplies.

The successful candidate will be a strong leader, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to inspire cooperation and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Critical Skills & Certifications
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in managing kitchens in a high-volume atmosphere;
  • Excellent leadership and motivational skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal/listening/communication skills;
  • Ability to inspire cooperation and teamwork through self-confidence, attitude, and enthusiasm;
  • Extensive knowledge of culinary leadership, kitchen operations, and meticulous culinary skills;
  • Knowledge of operations and maintenance of commercial food preparation equipment;
  • Ability to manage inventory and allocate responsibilities and resources;
  • Organised and systematic approach to work and the ability to prioritise efficiently;
  • Attention to detail and analytical skills;
  • Compliant and up to date on all necessary certifications;
  • Ability to collaborate with Chef Paul on regional and seasonal specials;
