The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Return to Work Specialist to join our diverse team based in Melbourne. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on someone's life every day.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist assistance and one-on-one support to team members regarding all facets of claims management strategy.
  • Work closely with Case Managers to develop and implement safe and sustainable return-to-work outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Occupational Rehabilitation providers to ensure effective rehabilitation and return-to-work goals are established.
  • Provide specialist advice on complex claims strategy and undertake return-to-work activities, inclusive of direct engagement with external stakeholders.
  • Review and provide feedback on current claims management practices to identify emerging trends and areas for improvement.

About You

  • Demonstrated experience in claims and/or injury management.
  • Proven ability to engage with external stakeholders to support outcomes for injured workers.
  • Sound understanding of legislative and commercial contract requirements and performance measures.
  • Ability to accurately interpret relevant legislation (including Acts, Regulations, and case law).
  • Experience in providing training and coaching to improve capability of claims team members.
