Key Responsibilities

  • Provide workers' compensation advice to stakeholders such as workers, employers and providers
  • Deliver personalised face-to-face assistance to workers and employers
  • Conduct community-based visits to worksites or medical clinics on initial triage of a claim and at significant milestones during the life of a claim
  • Proactively proceed with appropriate case management to achieve sustainable return to work and restoration to the community outcomes
  • Assist in reviewing providers' performance and consult with Provider / Return to Work Specialist where required
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders

About You

  • Experience in Occupational Rehabilitation/Return to Work, Nursing, Allied Health or experience in Case Management is desirable
  • Knowledge of the Victorian workers compensation is preferred
  • Effectively listen and understand the needs of the customer and what is important to them to enable their recovery and return to work
  • Sound negotiation and influencing skills
  • Current Unrestricted Victorian Drivers Licence
  • Must reside in South-East Melbourne – Cranbourne, Frankston, Mornington Peninsula, Frankston, Rosebud, Mt Martha & Phillip Island etc
