Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing payroll for 1000 employees across both Australia and New Zealand, ensuring timely payments and compliance with relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities- Process payroll for 1000 employees within deadlines, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Australian awards and payroll legislation.
- Manage staff personnel files, including calculating termination benefits and leave entitlements.
- Balance payroll ledger accounts and prepare payroll and budget reports.
- Ensure timely ATO and superannuation payments, and interpret awards and agreements as required.
- Manage end-of-year payroll processing and STP payment summaries.
- 2+ years experience as a Payroll Officer, with a strong understanding of Australian awards and payroll legislation.
- Proficient in the usage of Oracle and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Understanding of TIPT/QMS systems highly desirable but not required.
