About This Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced electrical estimator to join our team as a key expert in a growing business.

This well-supported role is perfect for skilled electrical estimators looking to work closely with the director and their consultant from a light-filled office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop accurate quotes for high-end residential projects using Sim PRO, Ground Plan, and Excel.
  • Manually mark up electrical plans based on builder specifications and client selections.
  • Forecast material requirements, raise purchase orders, and coordinate procurement.
  • Monitor project scope, track variations, and ensure accurate margin control.
  • Maintain pricing databases and templates for ongoing accuracy.
  • Report directly to the director and act as the primary estimating expert within the organization.

Projects & Clients:

We work with reputable builders on custom new builds in Melbourne.

Project values range from $30 K to $150 K (average $45 K).

We collaborate with established builders.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in electrical estimating (residential, commercial, or industrial sectors).
  • Proficiency in Sim PRO (essential), Ground Plan, and Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret electrical plans.
  • Calm, organized, and able to work independently without close supervision.
  • Bonus qualifications in electrical, estimating, or project management are advantageous.
  • Australian industry experience is required.
