With a growing pipeline of work and a reputation for quality and precision, they are now seeking an Electrical Estimator to take the lead on quoting, manual plan markups, and procurement coordination.
You'll work directly with the Director and their consultant from a light-filled office in Burwood, supported by clear systems and an approachable team.

About the Role : Quote high-end residential projects using Sim PRO, Ground Plan and Excel Mark up electrical plans manually based on builder specs and client selections Forecast material needs, raise purchase orders, and coordinate procurement Track scope, monitor variations and ensure accurate margin control Maintain pricing databases and templates for ongoing accuracy Report directly to the Director and act as the key in-house estimating expert Projects & Clients : Custom new builds for boutique Melbourne builders Project values from $30 K to $150 K (average $45 K)Work with reputable builders What We're Looking For :2+ years' experience in electrical estimating (any sector – residential, commercial or industrial)Proficiency with Sim PRO (non-negotiable), Ground Plan and Excel Excellent attention to detail and ability to read and interpret electrical plans Calm, organised and able to work independently without micromanagement Bonus if you have qualifications in electrical, estimating or project management Must have Australian industry experience Why Join This Business?Clear processes, calm work environment – no chaotic site work A company that values accuracy and empowers its people Small, supportive office – no red tape, direct access to leadership Be the in-house expert – your knowledge will directly shape project outcomes Flexible hours and WFH negotiable Growing business with a strong pipeline and premium clientele The Offer : Part-time, permanent role based in Burwood (potential to go full-time)Salary : $100 K–$150 K + Super (pro-rata)Flexible start and finish times1-day WFH or more – open to negotiation Long-term opportunity to grow with the business At JV Recruitment, we're proud to be working exclusively on this role and will support you through every step of the process - from application to offer and beyond.
