The Role:
This is a Full Time opportunity for a Workshop Administrator to join our team. Reporting to the Supervisor, this role will provide administrative support in procurement of materials and services to enable the workshop and panel shop to effectively maintain the depot's bus fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Purchase Requisitions: Generate purchase requisitions for required materials and services.
- Purchase Orders: Issue approved purchase orders to relevant suppliers and service providers.
- Workshop Maintenance: Coordinate inspections and maintenance of workshop plant and equipment to meet compliance requirements.
- Audits: Participate in internal and external audits.
- Fleet Management: Assist with the management of our fleet of vehicles.
- Parts Pricing: Handle parts pricing inquiries.
- Reports: Prepare weekly reports.
- Logistics and Administration: Perform general logistical and administrative duties.
About You:
We are looking for someone with sound clerical experience who can demonstrate:
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Understanding of procurement process for materials and services.
- An understanding of the workings of an automotive workshop and/or the bus industry/transport would be an advantage.
- Good analytical/problem solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to plan, priorities and execute tasks to meet deadlines.
- Experience in ERP software such as Microsoft AX or SAP highly desirable.
