About the Role

We are seeking experienced clinicians to work with clients aged 0-65 who have various presentations, diagnoses, and disability types. You will be part of a national team providing clinical services across early intervention, school age, adolescent, and adult services.

As a Behavioural Support Specialist, you will work with allied health practitioners, support workers, and family members to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients. This includes assessing and observing participants' challenging behaviours, developing and implementing Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans and assessments to improve clients' quality of life.

Your Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality services
  • Develop and implement PBS plans and assessments to address client needs
  • Conduct observations and assessments to identify areas for improvement
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualifications in Psychology, Counselling, Behaviour Analysis, Teaching, Social Work, Social Sciences, Criminology, Childhood Education & Care, Health Science, Allied Health, or Nursing
  • NDIS Registration as a Behaviour Practitioner or the ability to become registered
  • Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, and other complex diagnoses (desirable)
