The Lizard Children's Centre Pty Ltd (also known as The Lizard Centre and The Lizard Children's Centre), a wholly owned subsidiary of AAA Nextt Group Pty Ltd, is one of Australia's leading providers of evidence-based teaching intervention for young children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related developmental delays. Currently there is an exciting opportunity for a Behaviour Support Specialist to work with our professional team in Sydney.

The purpose of the role will involve conducting all clinical aspects of a child's program. The clinical aspects include: conducting the initial consultation, assessment, compiling the assessment results, programming, writing progress reports, maintaining the child's main file and clinic folder, running monthly clinic meetings, training families in behaviour management and other necessary skills, managing the performance of Behaviour Therapists through the clinic meetings and video or real time remote observation.

The holder of the role will be required to maintain high levels of acquisition in the program by monitoring, and problem solving difficulties. In particular, the they will responsible for executing Behaviour Intervention Plans (BIP) in a timely manner, ensuring SBT's, LBT's and BT's, Lizard Speech Therapists (if applicable) as well as parents are trained in the BIP and supervised and coached in managing challenging behaviours.

Key responsibilities include:

- Client Assessment and Design of an Individualised Intervention Program
- Maintenance of client focus
- Provision of information to all stakeholders
- Development of Behaviour Therapists
- Collection and storage of data
- Design and deliver training programs as required. The provision of Supervision - BCBA, SBT etc, Design & Delivery of new Lizard Programs as required

Position holder will need to be principled, creative, committed and responsive.
- Applicants for the role must have at least a Bachelor degree in a relevant field (e.g. psychology, education or speech pathology).
- Applicants must have a BCBA certification.
- Applicants must have at least 1 year of work experience as a credentialed practitioner.
