Job Description

We are seeking skilled Behavioural Support Specialists to join our team in New South Wales. This role involves working with NDIS participants and their support networks to identify individual needs through assessment and person-centred planning.

Your primary focus will be on supporting clients to set meaningful goals and developing practical strategies utilising The Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework, prioritising the elimination of restrictive practices.

You will work closely with clients, families, and carers to create tailored support plans that reflect individual goals, strengths, and passions. Additionally, you will contribute to building the knowledge, capacity, and strengths of those supporting our clients.

  • Current suitability as a registered Behaviour Support Practitioner with the NDIS Commission or considerable experience providing support to individuals with behaviours of concern is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Strong communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in computer software and flawless writing skills are mandatory.
  • A current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle are necessary for this role.
