
Behaviour Support Specialist

We are seeking an Advanced or Specialist level Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team in western Sydney.
This role involves assisting NDIS participants and their families in identifying their needs through assessment and person-centred planning. The successful candidate will develop and deliver evidence-based support plans within complex support spaces.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
- Evaluating, developing and delivering support plans that reflect the participant's goals, passions and strengths
- Ensuring individual plans promote positive behaviour support and eliminate restrictive practices
- Building knowledge, capacity and strengths of those who support participants in their lives
- Acting as an advocate and role model for best practice
- Working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team

Requirements
- Assessed by the NDIS as Proficient or above level as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
- Completed degree-level qualification as an allied health professional
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Pro-active attitude and genuine passion for working in the Disability sector
