Senior Culinary Operations Manager
Deliver exceptional food and dining experiences for high-profile events.
Contribute to menu innovation, oversee daily culinary operations, and lead a team of skilled chefs. Ensure consistent, high-quality food delivery and maintain efficiency in managing food costs and inventory.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development and implementation of menus for large-scale events.
- Mentor and develop junior chefs, assisting with recruitment and rostering to build a strong kitchen team.
- Manage food costs, budgets, and inventory to optimize kitchen efficiency and profitability.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and purchasing team to ensure smooth kitchen flow and timely stock availability.
- Foster a positive and respectful kitchen culture built on teamwork and open communication.
Requirements:
- Minimum two years' experience in a senior leadership role within a commercial kitchen setting.
- Strong banqueting experience and hands-on leadership skills are essential.
- Effective communication and delegation skills, with the ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards.
- Solutions-focused, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement.
- Ability to work independently with initiative, precision, and attention to detail.
Working Conditions:
This role requires flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
