
Learning and Development Team Lead

About the Position
We are seeking an exceptional professional to lead our Learning and Development Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coaching, mentoring and motivating the team to achieve organisational learning and development objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and support to the Learning and Development consultants to deliver quality training, coaching and mentoring across the organisation.
- Monitor team and individual staff performance to ensure all relevant performance measures are met.
- Engage and train staff to provide high-quality services and provide regular performance feedback.
- Ensure administration requirements and reports are accurate and up-to-date, and report to management as required.
- Assist with content development for leadership programs and coordinate training activities for Workskil leaders.
- Provide leadership to the team to develop, update and deliver training and support materials that engage participants and develop competence.
- Manage the learning and development helpdesk function, including recording, reporting, escalation and resolution of issues within designated time frames.
- Identify appropriate training needs across Workskil Australia through consultation with Operational Management, Performance Support Team, Business Improvement Team and Compliance Audit Team.
- Maintain adequacy of knowledge of funding Deeds and guidelines to provide training to staff regarding contractual and procedural queries.
- Adhere to the Integrated Management System and assist with continuous improvement activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of government programs, legal frameworks and legislation pertaining to employment services. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a culturally diverse range of clients, employers and staff.
