**About the Role**

The Learning and Development Specialist will be responsible for developing, overseeing and coordinating learning and development programs and projects and will be managing the study assistance program.

This will include coordinating external training and education for Workskil Australia staff engaged in professional development and collaborating with Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), Traineeship providers, and other stakeholders to maximise training opportunities aligned with staff needs and organisational goals.

**This is a full time, ongoing role and will be based at Melrose Park.**

**You'll also experience the work/life balance that comes with working a 9-day fortnight, with a dedicated and fixed day off every second week. You will still receive the remuneration of a full-time employee in addition to the ability to salary sacrifice.**

**To be successful in the role you will be able to**:

- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement learning and development programs that engage and motivate staff based on best practices in the field.
- Manage the study assistance program including the contracts and relationships with external training providers and RTOs, the enrolment process, mentoring staff, analysing training effectiveness and reporting.
- Develop and manage the delivery of learning and development projects to support the delivery of the People & Culture Strategic Plan and Learning & Development Plan.
- Assist with the management of the Learning Management System, including, trouble shooting, allocating courses to customers and staff, reporting, and help desk escalation.

**You will also need to**:

- Hold a qualification in Human Resources Management, Training or a related field.
- Demonstrate the ability to think critically and problem solve to get great learning outcomes.
- Demonstrate project management and change management skills.
- Demonstrate strong skills in data entry, the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills to engage and motivate staff through presentations and written material.
- Show ability to write professional quality documents, presentations, and influence others verbally to achieve desired outcomes with excellent attention to detail.
- Demonstrate ability to work effectively with a culturally diverse range of customers, employers, and staff.

**Remuneration**

A competitive salary will be negotiated commensurate with skills and experience. As Workskil Australia is a public benevolent institution, we can also offer a portion of the salary through tax effective salary packaging.
