About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Administrative Officer to join our team at Monash Health. As a key member of our patient care team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our clinical services, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to incoming calls and emails, providing timely and effective support to patients and staff
  • Process referrals, schedule appointments, and manage wait lists to ensure efficient patient flow
  • Attend clinics and provide administrative support to healthcare professionals
  • Enter data accurately and efficiently, maintaining high standards of data quality
  • Collaborate with colleagues to implement new processes and improve existing ones
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Intermediate computer skills, with experience in iPM or similar patient management systems
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Proven organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Flexibility to work staggered shifts, including Monday to Friday
