Job Opportunity: Implementation Consultant

This role involves providing consulting and implementation services to clients, focusing on defining client requirements, conducting gap analysis, documenting, building, and configuring solutions to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to develop executable plans that account for functional and technical work streams of the project.
  • Provide best practice solutions based on customer-defined business needs and rules.
  • Successfully implement products and associated services within required timeframes.
  • Communicate with clients throughout the implementation lifecycle, including face-to-face, written, and verbal communication.
  • Anticipate, identify, and analyze risks, problems, and opportunities, establishing priorities and efficiently allocating resources for resolutions.
  • Apply project methodology, including planning, follow-up, reporting, and quality assurance.
  • Review and measure progress against specified criteria and deliverables, developing suitable corrective action as required.
  • Display personal integrity and professionalism in all dealings with colleagues and clients.
  • Maintain subject matter expertise by staying up-to-date with technology and legislative developments relevant to the product and industry.
  • Demonstrate high levels of customer service across all internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  • Ensure cooperation and sharing of skills and expertise among team members.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Strong stakeholder management and customer service/client-facing consulting experience within an implementation/service delivery environment.
  • Demonstrated experience within an implementation environment, with an excellent understanding of payroll, payroll applications, and processing.
  • Experience with project management methodology, with demonstrated success in previous roles.
  • Tertiary qualification in a business-related field or Information Technology, or proven experience in a similar role may be taken in lieu of formal qualification.
