We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Risk, Quality & Compliance Manager. This is a part-time opportunity, working 24 hours per week.
About the RoleThis key position within our Executive Team will drive a strong risk culture, oversee internal processes, and provide expert advice on compliance matters.
Responsibilities- Risk Management: Manage risks across the firm, including anti-money laundering (AML) / counter-terrorism financing (CTF), Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL), Anti-Capital Markets Integrity (ACLI), and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) requirements.
- Training and Support: Provide guidance and support on risk & compliance matters to ensure high standards are maintained.
- Incident Management: Monitor incidents, breaches, and complaints, and embed controls in collaboration with the Executive Team to mitigate potential risks.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards.
- Regulatory Advice: Offer guidance on legislative changes impacting the company's compliance obligations.
- Compliance Review: Review and approve marketing materials and other external communications for legal and regulatory compliance.
- Tertiary Qualifications: Tertiary degree qualifications in law, commerce, economics, finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in a Compliance-based position within the financial services industry.
- Licensing Knowledge: Experience with AML/CTF, AFSL, and ACL licensing requirements is highly regarded.
- Industry Connections: Experience working with ASIC is highly regarded.
