We are seeking an individual to join our Directorate of Workforce Planning as a Workforce Planning Officer. This role involves performing complex workforce management and planning duties within an integrated workforce.
About the RoleThis position is responsible for organising workflow, making independent decisions, undertaking specialist research and analysis, conducting reviews, and providing administrative support work to achieve results.
Key Duties- Designing and producing simplified workforce reporting across a range of metrics.
- Preparing submissions for delegate consideration relating to recruitment, establishment, and other workforce planning responsibilities.
- Coaching, supporting and guiding people leaders and personnel staff on workforce planning matters.
The Air Force has embarked on a capability modernisation program and will become one of the most advanced Air Forces in the world over the next decade. The Directorate of Workforce Planning is responsible for managing personnel capability issues associated with current and future workforce planning.
Our StructureThe team is structured into key areas including Supply, Modelling & Sustainability, Establishments, Future Workforce Planning, Category Plans, and Recruiting Liaison.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Well-developed interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Able to achieve results and deliver on work responsibilities and key priorities.
- Strong analytical skills to effectively manage large datasets.
You will work independently and autonomously without supervision and as part of a broader team within an integrated workforce.
