Workforce Strategy Manager

The role of a Workforce Strategy Manager involves leading the development and implementation of workforce strategies to address capability/capacity challenges and identified risks, issues and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Monitoring progress against key people strategies including the People and Culture Strategy and Action Plans, Workforce Plan and determining synergies to achieve the best outcome for stakeholders
- Providing strategic advice to senior executives on workforce planning and strategies; and outcomes through appropriate monitoring and coordination
- Investigating, analysing and interpreting workforce information to identify possible workforce improvement opportunities for greater efficiencies
- Proactively partnering with stakeholders to provide innovative, sustainable and practicable workforce solutions ensuring an accurate selection of skills and knowledge to meet current and future work force demands
- Overseeing job design activities to create jobs that are both motivating for employees and add value to the organisation
- Identifying staff capability and developing coaching and mentoring staff providing timely and constructive feedback and managing performance
This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership and management skills as well as the ability to communicate effectively with senior executives and a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.
