Are you looking for a dynamic and challenging role in vocational education and training? As a VET Projects Officer, you will be part of a team driving positive change in the sector. This newly created position reports to the Manager VET Projects and is responsible for supporting key projects, working with contractors on research analysis, stakeholder consultation, report drafting, and presenting high-quality reports to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support initial key projects
  • Collaborate with contractors on research analysis and interpretation
  • Conduct stakeholder consultations
  • Draft high-quality reports
  • Facilitate technical committee meetings
  • Present reports to executive level

This role requires passion, relevant tertiary qualifications, and demonstrated experience in delivering research projects related to vocational education and training, workforce planning, or labour market research. Ideal candidates will have gained experience in service-focused VET environments in public safety, not-for-profits, or government.

The successful candidate will possess strengths in dealing with diverse stakeholder groups, well-developed communication and influencing skills, resilience, and a desire to deliver high-quality outcomes as part of a team.

Requirements:
  • Possess a relevant degree in a field such as education, business, or social sciences
  • Have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Develop strong relationships with stakeholders and build trust through effective communication
  • Showcase ability to work independently and as part of a team
