At the forefront of exciting and meaningful projects, we seek a Commercial Officer to review, draft, negotiate, and finalise contracts and commercial agreements. This role will also involve managing commercial contracts, supporting Procurement and Supply Chain colleagues, and providing advice on commercial policy.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, be flexible with a lean-in approach, and possess high-level written and oral communication skills. They will also have a team-oriented mindset, be curious, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Eligibility to hold and maintain Defence security clearance is required for this role. The candidate must be an Australian citizen and either possess or be eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, draft, negotiate, and finalise contracts and commercial agreements
  • Manage commercial contracts and the commercial elements of the Life Cycle Management and Request for Bid Approval process
  • Support Procurement and Supply Chain colleagues in the preparation of sub-contract terms and conditions
  • Provide advice on commercial policy to managers and non-commercial staff
