Job Overview:

The System Administrator (L2) plays a vital role in maintaining and enhancing IT environments under the ITIL Framework. This position is integral to ensuring the operational success of IT systems for our clients.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Level 2 technical support and administration through the ITSM toolset, adhering to Service Health Indicators (SHI's).
  • Conduct backup checks and implement necessary remediation for systems.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Manage Identity Management Services effectively.
  • Assist in the setup and reconfiguration of desktops and workstations.
  • Engage with third-party vendors as required.
  • Contribute to client projects when necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Possession of an NV1 Security Clearance.
  • On-site presence is required.
  • Relevant technical qualifications (e.g., Engineering, ICT Certifications).
  • Experience in a customer-facing Service Desk environment (Level 2 IT Support).
  • ITIL Foundations V3 or V4 certification.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Server 2016/2019, networking, software and hardware, and Active Directory.
  • Experience with VMware vSphere 6.7+ and Veeam Backup Solutions.
  • Basic familiarity with Splunk.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Understanding of remote support tools and ticketing systems.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Desirable:

  • Microsoft Certifications or equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
  • Experience with Tenable Nessus.
