About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Guided Weapons Systems Engineer to join our team, working on projects related to guided weapons and explosive ordnance delivery. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and reviewing engineering artefacts used to maintain and certify weapons, ensuring compliance with client engineering management systems.
  • Providing specialist engineering consulting services to our clients in the area of guided weapons procurement.
  • Coordinating and managing technical outcomes within a professional engineering team.
  • Designing and implementing in-service management of explosive ordnance.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An engineering degree in a suitable field and at least 2 years relevant experience, or a technical/trade background with 8+ years of demonstratable relevant Defence experience.
  • Relevant experience in engineering artefact development and review activities.
  • Sufficient maturity to undertake independent design development and/or review.
Desirable Skills

We are looking for candidates with:

  • A demonstrably elevated level of professional knowledge on guided weapon systems, equipment, or technology.
  • Experience working to support defence acquisition or sustainment projects.
  • Familiarity and conversance with some or all the following: Guided weapons / munitions, Defence technical regulatory frameworks (preferably Guided weapons / EO), Explosive ordnance, materiel management, technical management, Certification/integration activities, and EO / weapons-related Land, Sea, and Air operations experience.
