Compliance Expert Wanted

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Expert to oversee our organization's comprehensive Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF) function.

  • Develop and implement AML/CTF compliance programs, including policies, procedures, and controls across all licensed entities.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, such as AUSTRAC obligations and other jurisdictions' regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments, transaction monitoring, and reporting, including SMRs/SARs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage regulatory submissions, including accurate and timely filing of reports.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with regulators and external auditors on AML/CTF matters.
  • Provide advisory support to internal stakeholders, including new product launches, onboarding, and client lifecycle management.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in AML/CTF compliance is preferred, particularly within the contexts of CFDs, derivatives, foreign exchange, or securities trading.
  • Thorough understanding of the AML/CTF Act 2006, coupled with knowledge of AUSTRAC regulatory requirements and pertinent obligations set forth by ASIC.
