The Engineering Assurance Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the Chief Engineer in managing engineering governance and assurance.
- Governing the S&CSPO assurance model as defined by the S&CSPO Engineering and Technical Assurance Plan, ensuring compliance with Defence policy and processes.
- Assuring the health of Engineering and Technical Function outcomes for the Chief Engineer, providing critical support to drive success.
- Monitoring and controlling assurance outcomes to the Chief Engineer through Governance and Assurance Tool and Activity Reports.
- Providing guidance to E&T Governance and Assurance practices across the enterprise, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Ensuring that the S&CSPO E&T Function achieves Defence policy outcomes, aligning with organisational objectives.
This role is part of a professional, dynamic, and safety-focused organisation, working with highly technical Radar, Communications, and Command and Control assets, interacting with highly trained industry and operational staff. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of Defence policies and procedures.
