Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to lead our supplier quality assurance program.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining supplier quality assurance process models, identifying and implementing process improvements, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain supplier quality assurance process models aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and innovative solutions to boost quality and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance of supplier quality assurance processes with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Lead a team and oversee performance across the program.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and address stakeholder needs.
  • Provide training and support on SQA processes and best practices to staff.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Quality Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Certification in Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001) or equivalent frameworks.
  • Preferred: Advanced degree such as an MBA or Master's in a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supplier quality assurance or process management, ideally in defence or manufacturing.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement supplier quality assurance processes and systems.
  • Strong grasp of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools. Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in quality assurance tools and software.

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
