The Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) plays a crucial role in supporting the operational readiness and effectiveness of Defence Forces worldwide. As an EFB specialist, you will be responsible for providing front-line technical support, training, and guidance to users, ensuring seamless integration and use of EFB hardware and software.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Evaluate and resolve user queries and issues related to EFB hardware and software.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance user proficiency with EFB systems.
- Maintain and update documentation, knowledge bases, and other resources to support user needs.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define system architecture, develop test plans, and execute testing.
- Analyze and report on user feedback and system performance data to inform product improvements.
Requirements
- Prior experience working in IT or aviation-related fields is preferred.
- Strong understanding of EFB systems, including hardware and software components.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to engage stakeholders at various levels.
- Proficient in using relevant tools and technologies to support user needs.
- Australian Government Security Clearance (NV1 or NV2) is required.
