Electronic Flight Bag Support Specialist

This is a critical role that supports the operational readiness and effectiveness of the Australian Defence Force.

The Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) Field Support Representative plays a key part in providing front-line technical support, training, and guidance to EFB users across the ADF.

The EFB Support Specialist ensures seamless integration and use of EFB hardware and software in line with HQ(AC) directives.

They act as a trusted advisor and first point of contact for users requiring support with EFB systems, ensuring timely resolution of issues.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring EFB hardware and software is available for use by clients in accordance with HQ(AC) direction.
  • Providing ground support and training to EFB users.
  • Responding to all support requests within 24 hours, where actioned means that action has commenced to resolve their query or issue.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Previous experience working within or closely alongside the Australian Defence Force.
  • Strong knowledge of ADF aviation operations and systems, particularly in relation to the EFB.
  • Proficient in using EFB systems on Apple iOS devices, with working knowledge of supporting infrastructure.
  • Skilled in developing training content and providing structured instruction to end-users.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
