As a key player in the Automotive industry, we are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting or finance and be CA / CPA Qualified.

The successful applicant will have experience in a Manufacturing or Automotive environment and possess strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. They will also exhibit excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, with proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities of the role include preparing monthly management accounts for presentation to General Manager and MD, as well as calculating and preparing all statutory accounts and tax payments to ensure compliance with ATO requirements.

The Senior Accountant will work closely with the financial controller to prepare annual budgets and forecasts where necessary and supervise the credit control and accounts payable function. They will also regularly monitor warranty claims and other receivables from the franchisor.
