Eagers Automotive is currently seeking an experienced **Accounts Payable/Receivable Officer** to join our Ferntree Gully Toyota Dealership, reporting to the Financial Controller**.** If you are enthusiastic and driven, then we want you

**IN THE ROLE YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR**:

- Daily Management of the collection/Allocation process with debtors
- Effective and proactive communication skills and telephone manner
- Regular follow up of all outstanding debts within the ledger
- Respond to customer queries in a timely and professional manner
- Manage all AR query inboxes to ensure appropriate responses and actions are taken
- Manage regular payment runs, handling supplier reconciliations and any queries our suppliers may have

**TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE YOU WILL POSSES**:

- Strong initiate
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Ability to work within a team and be a 'team player'
- Previous experience in a high volume transactional role
- Industry experience will be an advantage
