About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for negotiating, drafting, and reviewing complex contracts, as well as ensuring regulatory compliance across the entire research cycle.

Responsibilities:
  • Negotiating and drafting comprehensive contracts with marketing and medical companies.
  • Providing guidance on day-to-day operational matters and ad-hoc requests from the team.
  • Maintaining awareness of relevant regulations and ensuring adherence throughout the research cycle.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of post-qualification experience, preferably in-house.
  • Proven knowledge of Australian regulation, particularly in the areas of intellectual property and commercialization.
  • Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide strategic advice.
  • Full Australian working rights and eligibility to practice law in Australia.
