Role Summary:We seek a Disease Diagnosis Specialist to join our Laboratory team in delivering accurate diagnostic testing and supporting patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct diagnostic laboratory tests across various disciplines, including chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and immunology.
- Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Ensure quality control adherence and compliance with established safety standards (CLIA, CAP).
- Communicate test results to healthcare providers for informed patient care decisions.
- Stay up-to-date with laboratory best practices through ongoing education and training.
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field; ASCP certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist.
- Associate's degree from a NAACLS-accredited Medical Laboratory Technician program; ASCP certification as an MLT.
- Montana licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist or Technician.
- Prior clinical laboratory experience is preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply.
