Job Title:
Key Account Manager | Rare Disease Specialist

 

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in key account management and hospital sales, as well as strong strategic planning and customer engagement skills. They must be able to develop and maintain a deep understanding of patient pathways from diagnosis to treatment, demonstrate expert scientific knowledge in their specialty area, and provide value to customers through sound technical and problem-solving skills.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Developing strategic business plans for accounts
  • Engaging with specialist and allied health professionals
  • Maintaining expert scientific knowledge in the specialty area
  • Understanding patient pathways from diagnosis to treatment
  • Demonstrating a deep level of understanding of clinical data, guidelines, and clinical practices to provide value to customers
  • Maintaining knowledge on disease state, product, and competitor information

 

Requirements:

  • A proven track record in key account management and hospital sales
  • Strong strategic planning and customer engagement skills
  • Sound technical and problem-solving skills
  • Expert scientific knowledge in the specialty area
