Rare Disease Specialist

The Clinical Science Associate is a key position that drives commercial success of rare diseases within defined territories. To achieve this, the role involves identifying and educating healthcare professionals to improve diagnosis times for patients suffering from Lysosomal Storage Disorders.
- Develop sales strategies and execute promotional activities to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Build relationships with departmental decision makers, treaters, specialists, and allied health staff to increase disease awareness, testing, and management, with a focus on Dry Blood Spot testing.
- Maintain activity in line with agreed business plans, including face-to-face calls, trade displays, conferences, educational events, and other initiatives.
The Clinical Science Associate will continuously monitor and analyze opportunities for existing and potential business and recommend appropriate approaches to maximize sales.
Key requirements include a proven track record as a specialist representative, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and tertiary qualifications in Pharmacy, Science, Nursing, Business, Marketing, or Education.
About You:
- A proven track record as a specialist representative, hospital sales representative, or similar role.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of products.
- Tertiary qualifications in Pharmacy, Science, Nursing, Business, Marketing, or Education, or extensive pharmaceutical sales experience.
