Case Manager

Job Summary:

As a case manager, you will be responsible for gathering and interpreting complex information to make fair and consistent decisions.

This role requires strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly document and communicate assessments with customers and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have experience in case/claims management and possess high-level analytical skills to understand and interpret legislation.

You will work independently to manage a portfolio of cases end-to-end, demonstrate empathy, and maintain a high standard of professionalism in challenging situations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft accurate, clear, and comprehensive written communications and case summaries
  • Conduct thorough case assessments through initial consultations over the phone
  • Review and analyse sensitive documentation to support informed and defensible decision-making
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records across systems

Requirements:

  • Australian Citizenship
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in case/claims management - superannuation and life insurance experience is highly regarded
  • Experience managing a portfolio of cases end-to-end
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to understand and interpret legislation
  • Demonstrate empathy and maintain a high standard of professionalism
