Key HR Role

We are seeking highly skilled professionals to manage complex cases and implement effective solutions.

All Case Officers undertake two or more of the following case types:

  • Preliminary and formal investigations of suspected breaches of conduct
  • Management of employee complaints
  • Reviews of action/employment decisions
  • Formal underperformance processes,
  • Alternative dispute resolution and/or mediation

You may also be required to fulfill roles related to suspension delegate or breach decision maker on investigations into potential breaches of conduct.

Main ResponsibilitiesAs a Complex Case Officer:
  • Investigate and manage complex, sensitive cases with guidance from senior colleagues
  • Apply relevant legislation, policy, and agreements to provide informed analysis
  • Develop clear and concise reports and recommendations
  • Identify and escalate risks appropriately, providing options for mitigation
  • Contribute to improving HR policies and processes
  • Build relationships with stakeholders, including union representatives and managers
As an EL 1 Complex Case Manager (Team Leader):
  • Independently investigate and manage complex cases, developing strategies for high-risk matters
  • Apply relevant legislation, policy, and agreements to provide expert advice
  • Prepare and present clear, concise briefings, reports, and written recommendations
  • Provide guidance to managers and senior executives on navigating risks and making sound decisions
  • Lead the development or review of HR policies and processes
  • Supervise and coach employees, fostering an inclusive team culture
