WALLCON
is a Perth based, small business specialising in precontract resources such as bid managers, estimators and quantity surveyors that focus on the Perth civil and infrastructure sectors. We also provide engineering support services such as civil design, 3D modelling and engineering labour hire.

With a track record of supporting Tier 1 contractors in large, complex tenders and Tier 3s in short term opportunities,

Role Description

Due to
WALLCON'S
continued growth, we are requiring a contract/part time Bid Lead. The Bid Lead will be responsible for managing and coordinating the bid and tender process, ensuring timely submissions, and liaising with clients and internal teams. This is a hybrid role based in Perth, WA, with some work-from-home flexibility. This role would be ideal for a candidate who is looking to exit site based works and transition into a precontract function.

Non-Negotiable Qualifications:

  • Perth based, Tier 1 or 2 civil contracting experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 8 years of post-graduate experience (senior project engineer level)

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience in managing and coordinating bids and tenders
  • Strong understanding of pre-contract and tender services within the civil infrastructure sector
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a hybrid work environment
  • Experience in civil contracting and engineering labor hire is a plus
