About the Role

The position of Knowledge Consultant – Claims is a crucial one in ensuring the effective implementation and maintenance of the Knowledge Governance Framework within the Claims & Assessing team.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining knowledge articles and requests, as well as liaising with subject experts and stakeholders to gather and document process information.

You will be accountable for developing, deploying, and maintaining best practice knowledge to sustain or improve the capability of the Claims & Assessing team within expected timeframes.

The successful candidate will also apply, monitor, and ensure adherence to Knowledge Management design principles for all Claims & Assessing work, as well as collaborate and support the implementation of HIYA across the team.

Additionally, you will support the Claims & Assessing Knowledge Management Onboarding/Accreditation program with ongoing coaching and mentoring, and advocate for HIYA, supporting the team to review and improve its knowledge base.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating and maintaining knowledge articles and requests
  • Liaising with subject experts and stakeholders to gather and document process information
  • Developing, deploying, and maintaining best practice knowledge
  • Applying, monitoring, and ensuring adherence to Knowledge Management design principles
  • Collaborating and supporting the implementation of HIYA
  • Supporting the Claims & Assessing Knowledge Management Onboarding/Accreditation program
  • Advocating for HIYA and supporting the team to review and improve its knowledge base

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Knowledge Consultant – Claims who can work effectively with all levels of business and technical teams, and tailor their communication style accordingly.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in technical writing, including producing, reviewing, and documenting to a high standard, as well as the ability to distil complex information into a clear and logical written format.
