As a key player in our logistics team, you will be responsible for streamlining freight movements to optimize costs and transit times.

About the Role

This position supports both operations and commercial departments, reporting directly to the Logistics Manager. Key duties include:

  • Monitoring inbound and outbound shipments
  • Preparing and reviewing shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Liaising with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other logistics partners
  • Tracking shipments and providing status updates to internal teams and customers
  • Maintaining accurate records of shipments and transactions
  • Assisting in resolving shipping issues, delays, or discrepancies
  • Supporting inventory control and warehouse coordination as needed
  • Contributing to process improvements and cost-saving initiatives
Key Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • 1-2 years of experience in logistics, import/export, or a similar field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP systems is an advantage
  • Experience working with freight forwarders and customs brokers
  • Familiarity with international shipping procedures and documentation
  • Knowledge of Incoterms and shipping conditions
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Competencies in contract negotiation and logistics management
