About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our growing sales team at Brightcove. As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base in Australia and New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a territory plan focused on revenue generation and account growth.
  • Build a metrics-driven sales pipeline of new accounts and manage the sales process through the team from initial contact with a prospect to negotiating and closing contracts.
  • Partner with sales leadership and marketing in ANZ to jointly build a go-to-market strategy for the SMB space.
  • Close deals and consistently meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Brightcove's products and services, as well as industry trends and customer needs.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of direct sales experience in a SaaS environment, preferably selling into Martech, advertising & media technology, and SMB clientele.
  • A proven track record of delivering on or exceeding revenue goals and quotas.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, manage, and carry through complex deals to closure.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to customize communication to the customer's needs.
  • BA/BS in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM is highly preferred.
