Accounting Specialist

Our company is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.


Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Maintain the integrity of general ledger accounts and ensure proper documentation.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax filings and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and analysis.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency.
  • Support audits by providing required documentation and responding to queries.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.

Requirements
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Be studying towards or a qualified CPA or CA candidate
  • Proven experience in financial reporting or general ledger accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
