Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Operations Director to lead our well-appointed facility in Salter Point, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional person-centered care and support.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations and manage staff to promote a compassionate and effective approach to resident care.
  • Actively promote and model the Values of BaptistCare through a collaborative, multidisciplinary team approach.
  • Manage and mentor staff to ensure a holistic, person-centered approach is maintained.
  • Ensure that WH&S and Injury Management systems are effectively utilised.
  • Lead the development of local initiatives to achieve the highest standard of care and services to residents.
  • Work towards achieving and maintaining occupancy, funding, and budget targets.
  • Implement Clinical Governance actions and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the Clinical Governance Framework.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary level qualification in an appropriate field and/or broad-based and extensive experience in managing a diverse, dynamic, and complex service.
  • Exceptional contemporary leadership skills, with a Postgraduate management qualification or achievement towards such qualifications.
  • Demonstrated leadership and performance management experience.
  • High level of experience and knowledge of the Aged Care industry, including contemporary issues, legislation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven high level of clinical competencies with excellent clinical analysis, interpretation, and planning skills.
  • Able to lead a multi-disciplinary team in delivering person-centred support.
  • Understanding of financial management principles and ability to interpret, act, and deliver solid financial results.
  • Familiarity with contemporary human resources practices and management practice.
  • Knowledge and commitment to Equal Opportunity and Diversity, and demonstrated knowledge of AN-ACC.
  • Ability to pass a National Police Check.
  • Willingsness to undergo a pre-employment medical.
  • Willingsness to obtain or provide proof of a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check.
