We are seeking an experienced Civil Operations Director to join our team at Iron Mine Contracting.

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned leader to play a key role in managing large-scale civil projects and driving business growth. As a Civil Operations Director, you will be responsible for directing and aligning project and operational goals with company-wide objectives.

  • Leadership: Direct and oversee project execution, optimizing resources, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery, and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Operational Management: Oversee project operations, manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure effective cost control.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Commercial Leadership: Act as the contractor's representative, ensuring all issues are dealt with in a timely manner.
  • Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and contributing to long-term business growth.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in a senior leadership role within the civil construction industry.
  • Relevant industry qualifications, such as a degree in civil engineering or project management.
  • Proven expertise in operations management, project management, resource planning, financial oversight, and commercial acumen.
  • Strong team building, mentoring, and leadership abilities.
  • Experience in business development and developing strong client relationships.
